Arts/Culture/Heritage Funding Panel (1)
Purpose of Committee: The Funding Panel is an advisory committee to the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners. Its charge is to evaluate and rank funding applications in accordance with the approved funding guidelines as enumerated by the mission and goals established by the Tourist Development Council and in accordance with Chapter 125.0104, Florida Statutes.
Qualifications: Seeking one (1) member who is a resident of St. Johns County with a demonstrated interest in tourism/cultural development and promotion.
Term: St. Johns County resident members serve two (2) year terms.
Meeting Schedule: This Panel meets quarterly (Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct) at the County Administration Building, 500 San Sebastian View. Additional special meetings may be called, when needed, particularly during budget preparation.

Contractors Review Board (3)
Purpose of Board: To insure proper administration of contractor licensing and discipline of licensed and unlicensed construction workers.
Qualifications: Applicants must be a resident of St. Johns County for at least two years prior to appointment. Seeking General (Building or Residential) Contractor, Class II, Plumber members serve a term of four (4) years.
Meeting Schedule: This Board meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 5:00pm in the County Auditorium, 500 San Sebastian View.

Housing Finance Authority (2)
Purpose of Committee:
To increase the supply of affordable housing opportunities through tax-exempt and taxable bonds and other available program resources.
Qualifications:
Seeking applicants with experience in labor or finance. Applicants must be a registered voter in St. Johns County. Members must file financial disclosure. Members serve a term of four (4) years.
Meeting Schedule:
This Authority meets the 4th Thursday of each month at 3:00pm in the Health and Human Services Building, Kingfisher Conference Room, 200 San Sebastian View St. Augustine, FL 32084. Additional weekly meetings are noticed during the administration and implementation of the CWHIP grant.

Health & Human Services Advisory Council (1)
Purpose of Committee: To evaluate human services programs in the community, assists in determining the effectiveness of programs, reduces duplication of services and assures the health and human services needs of the residents of St. Johns County are met. Review applications requesting county funding for programs that provide health, mental health, substance abuse and social services and submit recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners.
Qualifications: Applicants must be a registered voter in St. Johns County. Current vacancy is for professionals from disciplines in Health and Human Services. Regular members as well as alternates serve a term of four (4) years.
Meeting Schedule: This Board meets on-call as needed during application review period and on the third Thursday of each month at 4:00pm in the Health and Human Services Building, Kingfisher Conference Room, 200 San Sebastian View St. Augustine, FL 32084.

Industrial Development Authority (2)
Purpose of Committee:
Created for the purpose of financing and refinancing projects for the public purpose described and in the manner provided by Florida Industrial Development Financing Act to foster economic development within St. Johns County.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be a resident of St. Johns County and must be a registered voter in St. Johns County. Members must file financial disclosure.
Term: Members serve a term of four (4) years.
Meeting Schedule: This Authority meets as needed on the 2nd Monday of every month from 3-5pm in the BOCC Executive Board Conference Room, 500 San Sebastian View.

Fire Code Board of Appeals (7)  – 2 Regular & 5 Alternates
Purpose of Committee: To rule on matters relating to the Fire Code and its enforcement in accordance with NFPA Section 1.10.
Qualifications: Applicant must be a County resident. Seeking those with experience in one of the following: Engineering or architectural design; General contracting; Fire protection contracting; Building code enforcement; Legal.
Meeting Schedule: Meetings of the Board of Appeals shall be held at the call of the chair, at such other times as the Board of Appeals determines, and within 30 days of the filing of a notice of appeal.
