St. Johns County Survey Regarding Proposed Shore Drive Recreational Trail – St. Johns County Parks and Recreation is hosting a survey regarding a potential recreational trail for pedestrians and bicycles along Shore Drive in the St. Augustine South neighborhood. The purpose of this survey is to determine public interest in constructing a paved asphalt trail along three miles of Shore Drive, from Doug Crane Boat Ramp to the boardwalk at Lobelia Road. Frank Butler Park East Temporary Closure for Park Improvements – Frank Butler Park East, including the beach walkover, horseback riding beach access, and the parking lot, will be closed for park improvements beginning Monday, February 1. Phase one improvements will include additional parking spaces, parking lot surface improvements, beach walkover improvements, and new landscaping. The park and all beach access is scheduled to reopen in March. Phase two of the improvement project, scheduled for a date to be confirmed, will include renovating the bathrooms, adding ADA parking spaces, and constructing sidewalks. 2021 Annual Beach Driving Passes – St. Johns County resident passes are $50, non-resident passes: $100, accessible passes: $40. In addition, all 2020 annual beach driving passes have been extended through the 2021 beach season. If you purchased a 2020 pass, please retain your sticker, as they cannot be replaced and will require a purchase of a new pass. 2021 Beach Driving Passes

Student Open Gym @ Solomon Calhoun Center – Cancelled until Further Notice due to St. Johns County's COVID-19 Vaccination Program
Students, bring your friends and play some ball during our open gym hours at the Solomon Calhoun Center. This program is free, but you must bring your own basketball and sign in upon arrival.

Adult Yoga – Join us during our eight-week yoga sessions from 6 - 7 p.m., January 5 through February 25 at the Solomon Calhoun Community Center. Each session is $25 and space is limited to 30 participants. Comfortable exercise attire and tennis shoes or grip socks are required and we encourage you bring a water bottle, yoga mat, and a towel to each class. 904 Naturalist Workshop: Exploring the Circle of Place – January 6, 13, 27 | Solomon Calhoun Community Center. Learn about connecting with our local wilderness. This program takes place in the classroom and in the field.

St. Johns Golf Club Receives Five North Florida Chapter PGA Awards – The Northern Chapter of the North Florida Section PGA (NFPGA) recently recognized the St. Johns Golf Club with several prominent awards during their annual awards meeting in January. Late Risers Bar and Grille Clubhouse Restaurant Opens at St. Johns Golf Club – Late Risers Bar & Grille, a chef-owned restaurant with a scratch-prepared menu featuring hot, cold, and grab-and-go items offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as welll as a full bar. Beverage cart service will be available on the course from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Floating Dock at Usina Boat Ramp – The floating dock at Usina Boat Ramp is currently closed due to Hurricane damage and is expected to be reopened in Winter 2020.
St. Johns County Golf Course Master Plan Update – The St. Johns Golf Club is in the process of a potential Master Plan update that would include updating various aspects of the golf course.
