Porpoise Point Closed to Vehicular Traffic – Vehicular access to Porpoise Point is prohibited Saturday, September 8 through next week due to erosion, high tides, and inclement ocean conditions. St. Johns County staff will monitor the beach daily and will reinstate vehicular access when safe and appropriate to do so. St. Johns Golf Club Request for Proposals –  The St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners unanimously voted on August 7 to initiate a Request for Proposal (RFP) process pertaining to the possible renovation of the St. Johns Golf Club golf course. The RFP will solicit offers from the private sector for construction of homes on the nine closed holes, approximately 80 acres, in exchange for upgrading and renovating the golf course to standards of modern play. Shands Fishing Pier Closure –  The Shands Fishing Pier, 10000 Shands Pier Road, will be closed July 18 - October 1, 2018 for maintenance and repairs to the decking and handrails. Vilano Boat Ramp Floating Dock Repaired and Open to the Public – Temporary repairs to the floating dock at the Vilano Boat Ramp are complete and boaters now have safe and improved access to their vessels. The dock will be permanently repaired and open in February 2019. St. Johns County thanks residents and visitors for their patience during the improvements and repairs. Trout Creek Park Playground Closure – The playground is closed until further notice due to necessary repairs. The playground will remain closed until assessments and repairs have been completed.

Hastings Tot Lot is currently closed.
