4-H Youth Program –  4-H is a joint effort of St. Johns County, the University of Florida, and the United States Department of Agriculture. 4-H is a community of young people learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills. Betty Griffin House provides emergency shelter to abused women and their minor children and temporary shelter for rape victims in danger after the crime. Other support services available to shelter residents and nonresidents include a 24-hour crisis hotline, individual and group counseling, case management, civil legal representation, and court advocacy. Early Learning Coalition of Putnam & St. Johns Counties – The ELC serves parents, caregivers and educators of children ages birth to pre-kindergarten through various family services including helping parents find quality child care, Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten enrollment, assisting parents eligible for subsidized child care with the application process and early literacy programs. EPIC was created to provide substance abuse prevention, intervention, outpatient treatment and aftercare services. St. Johns County Health Department is part of the Public Health System. What are Public Health and the Public Health System? St. Francis House provides emergency shelter, food, and social services to the homeless in St. Johns County every day of the year. Along with food and shelter, we also offer clothing, laundry, showers, identification, drug/alcohol intervention, job referrals, spiritual guidance and counseling. St. Francis House

St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS) is a nonprofit organization providing services to boys from the age of six to 18 who are in need of residential therapeutic services due to abuse and or neglect. Since its inception in 1988, SAYS has strived to meet the needs of these children and to provide optimal care. St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS)

Girl Scouts provides an accepting and nurturing environment where, in partnership with committed adults, girls develop assets that will serve them all their lives: leadership, decision-making skills, and social conscience. Boys & Girls Clubs "To inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens." We help young people achieve positive life outcomes using a holistic, research-based, nationally developed youth development program that is proven to promote leadership, character, health, and career development. Generous community support and extensive collaboration allows us to help Northeast Florida’s least advantaged young people achieve solid, measurable, positive life outcomes. Boys & Girls Clubs

Hastings Youth Academy is a moderate risk, secure 184 bed juvenile facility with an average length of stay of 6 to 9 months. This program has three components— Behavioral Health Overlay Services (BHOS) slots, Intensive Mental Health Treatment slots and Specialized Mental Health Treatment slots. A psychologist is on staff full time and psychiatric consultation is available 8 hours per week.  St. Johns County School Board provides on site educational services to include both high school and GED courses of study. Vocational training consists of food services preparation. Sex offender treatment is NOT provided. Uniforms and all youth clothing are provided. Medical services are provided (7) days a week, 5:00 am to 9:00 pm.  Hastings Youth Academy
